Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR
Every day we experience the size of the skills gap, not only in demanding needs (computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering,…) but also in simpler needs and requirements (proper company organization, proper marketing, soft skills, presentation skills, etc.). We see that as a rule young people today are (feel) "ready" to staff a position but when they "sit in the work chair" they are unable to put into practice what they really thought they could do.
At the CityLab Educational Robotics Center we have experienced the skills gap - with many years of work experience of our people in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering but also Research and Training, we find that the gap is widening. In fact, according to the World Economic Forum for the fourth technological revolution "we are at the dawn of a technological revolution that will fundamentally change the way we live, work… which in scale and complexity will be different from what we have experienced… we do not know how it will evolve but it is clear that it must be comprehensive and inclusive, with the involvement of all global policy stakeholders, from the public and private sectors to academia and civil society. Compared to previous industrial revolutions it upsets almost every industry in every country. Both the scale and the depth of these changes signify the transformation of entire systems of production, management and governance. "
CityLab considers that it owes a debt for active participation in the relevant developments - in fact, some of our actions and actions have been in progress for a long time and we will announce their results in the process. The results so far are quite encouraging!
More follow in the next period of time!
